4. Subscription and Billing

4.2 Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond API limits

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Citescope AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and optimize your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to optimize content and generate images. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated outputs may require human review and editing
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI outputs
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before use
  • AI outputs should comply with applicable laws and regulations

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or reliability of GEO scores and recommendations
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Results from citation tracking or competitor analysis

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CITESCOPE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Citescope AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
